DoF Studio collects no personal data. It has no account, no server, and no networking code in it at all — so there is no mechanism by which your data could reach me even if I wanted it.

The camera bodies and lenses you save, and your last-used setup and preferences, are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using Apple's own on-device storage. They are never transmitted anywhere.
If you have iCloud device backup switched on, that local storage may be included in your own encrypted Apple backup, in the same way as any other app's data. That is between you and Apple; I have no access to it.
Deleting the app removes this data from your device.
DoF Studio asks for camera access for one purpose: measuring the distance to your subject and drawing the depth of field over the live view. The camera feed is processed on your device, in the moment, to work out a distance.
No photographs or video are captured, saved or transmitted. Nothing from the camera is written to storage, and there is nowhere for it to be sent. If you decline camera access, the calculator still works in full — you enter the distance by hand.
If you choose a photo so the app can read the settings it was shot at, that happens through Apple's standard photo picker. The app reads the focal length, aperture and camera details recorded in the image, uses them for the calculation, and does not keep the photo or the values afterwards.
The app never browses your library. It only ever sees the single image you pick.
Writing to dofstudio@frekvens.ai means I receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. I use it to answer you and for nothing else. It is not added to any mailing list, and it is not shared with anyone.
Support correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for handling the issue. Ask me to delete it and I will.
Buying and downloading the app is a transaction between you and Apple, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy rather than this one. Apple may give me aggregate, anonymous sales and download figures through App Store Connect. Those are counts and territories — they do not identify anyone.
If the app asks you to rate it, that is Apple's own rating prompt. Your rating and review go to Apple. I never learn which user left which review.
DoF Studio is a photography tool suitable for all ages. Since it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children either.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. In practice there is nothing to exercise those rights against: no personal data is collected, so none is held. The one exception is email you send me, covered above.
The data controller is Frekvens AI, Norway, reachable at dofstudio@frekvens.ai. If you believe your data has been mishandled you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
If a future version of DoF Studio ever collects anything, this page will say so before that version ships, and the date at the top will change. Anything that involves your data would be opt-in.
